Evan Collins and Andy Langevin added goals as the Bobwhites broke open the 1-0 game with three goals in the second period.

Rob Lussier had a 27-save shutout for BFA (3-0). Ian Veilleux made 19 saves and Andrew Boyle stopped 12 more for Rutland (3-1-1).
